Troubleshoot - Enable Microphone/Sound and Webcam for Wildix Collaboration in Chrome

Chrome will sometimes block Wildix from accessing your sound and webcam resulting in missing or blank devices when configuring your Web Phone in the settings. Here is how to allow Chrome to access the devices:

 

  1. Go to the Settings on the top-right

     
  2. Scroll down and click on Site Settings under Privacy and Security

     
  3. Click on wileyx.wildixin.com

     
  4. Under Permissions, click the drop-down menu for the items you want to allow. For Wildix, we want to allow: Camera, Microphone, Notifactions, and Sound.

     

You can close the settings tab afterwards and return to the web phone settings to change your device. You may need to close Chrome completely and then reopen it.
