How to Check Internet Speed

Checking your internet speed is a useful way of gauging your overall network performance when troubleshooting network related issues such as voice/video calls, remote business applications, and internet browsing.

How to run the speed test

1. Before starting the speed test, make sure you are disconnected from Wiley X VPN if you are working outside of the Wiley X office
    
2. Go to https://speed.cloudflare.com/ or https://speedtest.net/
    
3. The test will run automatically (a bunny will be running on the top left corner of your screen and stop when the test is complete)

How do I know if my internet speed is acceptable?

• Exceptional Internet Speed - is a consistent bandwidth connection of 150 Mpbs Download and 25 Mbps Upload (or more)
• Good Internet Speed - is a consistent bandwidth connection of 100 Mbps Download and 10 Mbps Upload. Wiley X recommends this as the standard internet connection speed.
• Anything below Good Internet Speed is prone to have internet or connection issues/slowness
