How to Send on Behalf of Another Email Address through Outlook Desktop App (web/outlook new below)

This article will show you how to send emails as another email address. Before you are able to do this, your systems admin will need to grant you access to send on behalf of that email address.

To do this on Outlook desktop application, follow these steps:

  1. Open an email you'd like to send / reply to
  2. Click on the Options tab then click on From
  3. You should now see a button for From. Click on it and if you don't see the email you wish to send as, select Other Email Address...
  4. Type in the email you want to send on behalf of then click OK
  5. If done correct, you will now see that email in the from field

Outlook New/Web

First you have to enable the "from" option in Outlook new/web.

1.  Start a new email and then choose "options" in the menu.

2.  Then check the "show from" in the options that appear below the Menu bar.

3.  Then a down arrow appears next to your email address and you can choose to send from a list of other email addresses you're authorized to send from.
